Namaste Beautiful Souls đŸ™đŸŒ

I hear and see a lot of people feeling restless or stuck at home, it's very understandable to feel like this right now, but there's many ways to fix it. For the love of Wellness I would like to share my Home SPA routine that I do every Wednesday and Sunday. I do this routine in the middle of the week and at the end of the week, like milestones to cafe card of the body for getting half way through and through the week.

1. Light as many candles as possible

2. Put on the playlist "SPA Treatment" on Spotify

3.Spray some organic room spray, light a scented candle or a infuser

4. Take a hot shower or bath, wash your hair and moisturise your body

5. Do a face mask of your choice

6. Put on your comfiest robe or pyjamas

7. Turn off your phone, your TV and any other distractions

8. Meditate for 5min, I offer my guided meditation on my IGTV

9. Make some herbal tea or cucumber and raspberries water

10. Give yourself a self massage - your face, shoulders, full body or feet

11. Do a manicure or pedicure (this is not for your looks, it's a internal way of relaxing by focusing on yourself)

Now just relax, relax and relax. If you begin to feel restless, read your favourite book, write in your journal or paint.

Hope you enjoy your Home SPA, I would love to hear how you felt afterwards below in the comments!

Today we had morning classes inside the Ashram and in the afternoon Vishva-ji said we will take the Puppy, Nando, and go down to the Ganga River and have our afternoon class there. Magical. The Ganges River is only 10 minutes away from the Ashram so we walked through the village and when we came down to Ganges, Vishva-ji started playing drums and we did some chanting.

After that he told us about Solar and Lunar energy, how to practise Yoga with the nature for optimal balance and benefits. He also told us about Patanjali (the first Yogi) and the history of Yoga. It’s so incredible to hear about the old Yoga stories and learn more about where Yoga comes from. To hear it from someone who’s been a Yoga Master for 40 years just makes it incredible. I can’t believe how lucky I am that I found this Yoga Teacher Training. When I think about it, I could have chosen any school at all but I choose this one.

When we were by the Ganga river we could see the beautiful Lakshmi Temple, the Himalayas mountains and I had Nando in my lap whilst we were listening to Vishva-ji’s stories. I had to pinch myself to know that it was real. I remember googling photos of Rishikesh before I booked my tickets and now I’m finally here.

Before we walked back, Vishva-ji asked us to meditate on the face that we are really here, on all the steps we had to take to get here and on all the people that helped us to get here. I thought about the first time I said out loud that I wanted to become a Yoga Teacher, when I asked one of my teachers where he did his teacher training, when I decided to quit my job, when I booked the tickets and when I arrived at the Ashram. So incredible to think about everything that has led up to this moment.

Namaste everyone đŸ™đŸŒ

It has now been a week since I “checked-in” to the Ashram and I can’t believe it’s only been a week. So much has happened, I’ve learned so many new things and I’ve met so many new people that it feels like this week has been a whole month. I wanted to update the blog sooner but our days are packed with Yoga and Teacher Training so I honestly haven’t had time. As soon as I get a break it’s time to study the Asanas (poses) we’ve learnt or read about the Yoga Philosophy.

The days here are incredible. We wake up at 04.45, go for 30 minutes guided meditation, 1.5 hour Yoga class, Fire Puja ritual with chanting for healing, breakfast, then we learn Yoga Philosophy, then we have techniques class and then we have philosophy and techniques again. Then it’s dinner and two night a week we have a chanting Kirtan for healing and tonight we got a guided Full Moon Meditation on the rooftop. We go to bed around 8.30-9.00pm to be able to get up early.

The Ashram is magical, it’s a big yellow house with 7-8 floors and a rooftop. The energy here is incredible and indescribable. Vishva-ji, our Yoga Guru, has the most beautiful energy I’ve ever seen and is the kindest person I’ve ever met. He’s all about healing, happiness and kindness and it shows on all the guests of the Ashram.

The Yoga Teacher Training is really above expectations. I’ve learnt more in a week than I thought we would learn over all. We learn all the asanas, poses, their benefits, precautions and how to teach them. Then we get to teach in front of the whole group, we are 33 people in the group, and it’s been so much fun. I thought I would be more nervous but it’s actually more fun than scary.

The other day I was a bit tired after a very intense day from 05.00-20.00 but then I talked to my roomie, Natalia who is also Swedish and who I love, and she said something so beautiful “I actually don’t remember the last time I had this much fun, everything we are learning more about it what I love doing and my passions. A couple of weeks ago I was stuck at work and felt so depressed.” I could not agree more, I feel so lucky to have long days learning about Yoga and Meditation. Making so many new friends already and meeting people from everywhere in the world.

Beyond grateful and lucky for this life-changing experience.
